Finally a second mount from an emissary cache!

My crazy world quest challenge (self inflicted)
There are a lot of achievements around that I still need to work through, and I thought I should at least try to do the 10000 World Quests achievement.
So far, I have managed to get 50 quests a day done, but with some days doing more than others to catch up. Some days I do 20 world quests, other days I have done 90!
Spanky told me not to burn myself out, but I doubt that I will be burnt out from game, just World Quests. Knowing that Galestion and Fin both have their 10k quests done spurs me on a little bit...
So, predictions on how long I'll last? I was going to say 2 weeks, but that really just depends on time. If I'm time poor, I'll fall behind. And of course, if work isn't too hectic...
The bad thing is, that I was only up to 7000 world quests. That's 3000 world quests I need to get done by September. That's 6 months.
3000 divided by 180 days (approximately) is 16 world quests a day. Doable. But what if I want it done by May? I doubt it will be out that early, but if I worked hard and did 50 world quests a day, I could be done in 2 months!
So, I started on Sunday 11th and have been slogging at it since. I asked Crooked how long I would last. He said 3 days. So of course, I was motivated to last longer htan 3 days.

Two new mounts - Steelbound Harness and Wild Dreamrunner
That is the second mount that I've gotten in a week from Emissary cache! How lucky is that! This Wild Dreamrunner is quite a pretty unicorn indeed. I think it deserves it's own transmog, which I shall work on later.
Also, a gift from Delanoben - he gave me the blacksmithing mount, the green core hound mount from the steelbound harness. Now wasn't that nice of him!
Unfortunately, lame backdrop for photo. It just looks a bit hazy...

Raiding - Achievements in Antorus the Burning Throne (Part 3) - We're done sweating!
This raid was dedicated to getting Aggramar's achievement, Don't Sweat the Technique. We had attempted it last week but kept making small stuff ups so we couldn't get it.
Poor Gravy. He was tanking so there was a lot that was reliant on tanks. Now, it's not that he's a bad tank, he just hasn't tanked it that much, and now he has to do the OPPOSITE of what they normally do when tanking.
And Duggra had the other hard job of making sure the mob was cc'd. Now that doesn't sound hard, but do it too far away and the boss has to be dragged to the mob so it gets hit by Taeshalach. Then there was an issue with knockback so that the boss would punt the tank with rend and then step forward into the mob and then it would be absorbed into the boss.
So even though it doesn't sound that hard, we spent the equivalent of a whole night on it (if you include previous attempts). I think for us it was the hardest of the achievements in there!
We had a few goes at the Argus achieve, but we thought we would have better success if we tried it with more people, so we begged a few guildies to join us next week.
Good work everyone! One more to go!
Protip: Warlocks are the best for cc, as banish makes it immune to other damage but NOT to Taeshalach. And have the tanks face it a little away from the mob so it's clipped by the edge of the Taeshalach frontal cone instead of being front on so the boss doesn't step forward into the mob.

Fail Friday - Don't queue dungeons at 140am
As part of my world quest challenge, I was queuing up specific heroic dungeons to get the dungeon world quests done. I thought that would be also a good way to pass the time whilst I waited for the PvP daily to pop up at 2am.
The tank pulled really slowly, and I had entered as heals. The pauses between pulls were so long I started pulling, and I don't know if I was annoying the tank or not. In hindsight, I should have pulled even faster!
I switched to boomkin and we ploughed steadily through the dungeon. We were just fighting Smashspite when suddenly I had a loading screen and I was dropped from group.
Oh, that was weird, I thought. What happened? I whispered one of the guys in the group and I hit enter and then realised what happened.
Well, that was dumb of me. I really SHOULD have pulled faster. 5 more minutes and we would have been done! Good one, Navi.

Minipost: Legendary #38 - Another Giant Elemental's Closed Stone Fist
I was with Crooked doing a selected heroic dungeon for the world quest (gold reward) and I was tanking HOV. When I looted one of the bosses I got a Shaman legendary!
I got a big grats from a warlock in the PuG. Crooked was amused, I think. I was glad. At least it wasn't a hunter legendary!
Well, good thing I made that shaman. Now it will have 2 legendaries! If I ever get to 110... that is. Perhaps that can be my next project!

"Before you likes your next trial. Definitely." Yep, he's got that right! Need to level my Shaman! |

Raiding - Achievements in Antorus the Burning Throne (part 4) - Glory of the Argus Raider
Down to the last part! Argus and Stardust Crusaders!
When we were attempting it last week we just couldn't collect enough motes inside. The success rate would be better with more people. So, we begged as many guildies as we could to get online so we could have a better success rate.
This time Galestion came. I asked him to come last week for Don't Sweat the Technique but he was busy playing DOTA even when I begged him. So he missed out on the achievement, much to my dismay.
Splatz, Sev and Eurie also came, and that helped bulk up numbers. Strophic came too. Now we had the opportunity to have as many Reorigination modules because inside they each spawn 4 small motes, and it's those motes that we need 20 of in 5 seconds.
What the achievement says is to collect 20 motes in 5 seconds. The motes are the black small orbs you collect when you're dead. Khaz'goroth gains energy with each orb you collect, so when u get to 80 energy (in 5 seconds) then it's time to kill him.
The problem is that it's sooo long into the fight to get the achievement. If you make mistakes towards the end it takes ages to get to that part of the fight again.
You have to extend the fight a fair bit. The first time the Reorigination modules spawn, there are 3. Kill them all, don't collect motes. The second time they spawn, there are 4. Kill these. Keep waiting until there are at least 6 modules, just to be safe. Then there will be 24 motes inside, so if u miss one or two, it's ok.
We explained it to everyone, said don't die if u can help it, but if you die during the round with 6 matrices stay dead until we say release. Everyone died in different areas of the room and then Crooky called out for everyone to release and collect.
And everyone did. I was busy healing so I didn't see Khaz'goroth's energy bar, but it reached 80...
"I think we got it," Crooked (or was it Hwired) said.
Everyone rez! Kill Argus!
And we did. And it was glorious!
Protip: Wait until you have 6 matrices or more so you can get 4 motes inside for each (24 motes). And have a big group. Release at the same time and collect!
That is the first time we have done a current "Glory of the Raider". We usually wait a tier and go back to get the achievement.
For everyone who did come every week for the last 4 weeks, we took a pic of us with our new Gloomhounds. Those who had the mount from Felhounds mounted up and joined us too.
Good work Frostwolves!
If you want to have a quick read of how we did the other Glory of the Argus Raider achievements...

Raiding - Our First Aman'thul's Vision
So our raid saw our first Aman'thul's vision drop in heroic raid (even ANY raid) - BIG GRATS to Crooked!
![]()
Interestingly, that wasn't the first lucky thing Crooked had. We did Eonar for the Tier chest and Crooked also managed to get his tier chest!
So now Crooked has to come along and give us good luck for every raid. He did even consider bringing his druid to see if he could get an Amanthul's too.
Crooked now had so much leech he had to try out all the leech in a mythic plus - however, it didn't do that much healing much to his disgust. However, it was an awesome stat stick!
I didn't realise that it doesn't count as one of the 2 legendaries that you can equip, but you can only equip Aman'thul's or the other Path of the Titan trinket (Norgannon, Eonar, Khaz'goroth, Golganeth)
Now, will we see another one before BFA? I went to look up the drop rate and someone in the EU had done some rather vague statistics
Aman'Thul's Vision:
Week 1: 10448 characters -- 28 drops - Drop rate: 0.270%
Week 2: 9729 characters --- 14 drops - Drop rate: 0.140%
Week 3: 9210 characters ---- 6 drops - Drop rate: 0.065%
Week 4: 8440 characters ---- 8 drops - Drop rate: 0.095%
Week 5: 7757 characters ---- 5 drops - Drop rate: 0.064%
Week 6: 7426 characters ---- 5 drops - Drop rate: 0.067%
Week 7: 7046 characters ---- 7 drops - Drop rate: 0.099%
Week 8: 5625 characters ---- 6 drops - Drop rate: 0.107%
Weeks 9-12: 10872 kills ---- 7 drops - Drop rate: 0.064%
Week 13: 38064 characters - 41 drops - Drop rate: 0.108%
Week 14: 8372 characters -- 11 drops - Drop rate: 0.131%
Week 15: 8240 characters -- 13 drops - Drop rate: 0.158%
Week 16: 6560 characters --- 8 drops - Drop rate: 0.122%
Week 17: 5868 characters --- 8 drops - Drop rate: 0.136%
So, from these numbers, perhaps a drop rate of about 0.1% on average. So if we do want that trinket, I guess it means we should do normal Argus every week too....

Minipost: Legendary #39 - Demonslayer's Soul-Sealed Satchel
I was killing stuff on the Broken Shore when this dropped from one of my Emissary Cache's that I opened whilst I was doing stuff.
So at least I have a DH that is 100! However, it hasn't done any of the starter things - in fact, it's not gotten out of Vault of Wardens!
I attempted to do a little bit on my DH to get her out of Vault, and I made it to Orgrimmar before I got bored. But at least, I can use it if I get to Broken Isles and get to 101.
So... what's next?

Fail Friday - Can't get anything but Shoulders
"Navi," said Pancake. "It happened again."
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"I got Mantle of the Dark Sea in my cache this week."
"Oh, grats!" I said.
"Last week, I got Spaulders of Tense Sinew, and the week before, Swordsinger's Shoulders. A few weeks ago, I got Felbat Leather Pauldrons."
"Oh," I said. "What the F--- is with you and shoulders? Is it so you can carry us, with your broad shoulders?"
"Four shoulders," Pancake said. "I'm never gunna not use Mantle of the Master Assassin."
I laughed.
"Like, in every spec, Mantle of the Master Assassin is BIS."
Poor Pancake. Well, I guess most of the time we do get rubbish in your caches. I wonder what he'll get next week? More shoulders?

Twin transmog in Darkbrul
Was doing Darkbrul Arena and there was another druid there with the Xavius shoulders and also using the Highmountain tauren black and red skin!
He said to me "cool transmog" and I laughed and asked if I could take a pic with him. He even has the same bear fist weapon mog that I use for those shoulders!
Anyway, not often you meet someone in Darkbrul that you can chat to, let alone take a pic with. Thanks Aurelion!

Raiding - Carried through Mythic by my friends in Onineko
It was Thursday and I was happily doing my world quest challenge when I got a whisper from a friend asking me to do mythic ABT. I hesitantly said I hadn't done much mythic.
A second tell from a different person asking me to come. Maybe in 6 minutes, I said. I was doing world quests with Splatz, and it was fun. He was an efficient person to be doing WQ with.
Then a third tell from another person. Wow, they must really be scraping the bottom of the barrel. I have done NO reading.
Then a fourth from yet another person, telling me it would be fun. I said give me a few minutes, I would come. I told Splatz I had to go heal something.
Then a fifth person! I said I'm coming, I'm coming!
So I dropped Splatz off, and in the meantime was getting spammed with invites. Nervous but happy to be doing some mythic raiding, I told them I was coming.... my 6 minutes wasn't up yet.
"6 minutes is awfully precise," said Ctwin.
Well, I'm a precise person. I have world quests down to an art!
So off I went to be carried in Mythic by friends in Onineko.
I came in on Felpuppies, and I was patiently instructed by the raid leader on what to do (yet I was still on the wrong side because I was feeling nervous and silly) and that was cool, one kill down.
And you know what? I forgot to get coins. Next up was Antoran High Command. Yog explained it all to me (oh, and now he was big boss too!). He told me all I had the easy job of going into the pod first. Ok cool, I can do that! But, there is an extra action button, for killing a bat that appears on the unmarked side. Umm, ok I can do that! Oh and I had to take grenades out. Didn't quite know what that meant, until I saw it. Just bad stuff you can't drop in middle of raid. So that was ok! Cool, another boss down!
So in Eonar had to do something a bit different. Now I had to go to some flower thing that appears next to Eonar after the first wave and go up into the ship, heal the guys in there killing a miniboss, click a crystal and run the hell out. And then go heal my tank. That didn't seem TOO bad... but got that down too yay!
Ok so this one I fully admit I stuffed up twice. My job was to hot up the "mechanics" team who were a demonhunter, monk and rogue. I don't exactly know what they were doing but it hurt them. After that I was supposed to follow the tank up into the red portal. Now, the first 2 times I was slow getting to that portal and the beam would always be on that portal and I'd die. I figured out after that I should just hang out near that portal and go up when I see the tank bolting over there. So that worked. And then I couldn't figure out if I was supposed to be up in other portals healing the guys... so in the end I just winged it and somehow we killed it, woo!
So that was kinda fun and I got asked to go again, but I did say that I was only available on Thursdays so only if they really needed me. I hated being the carry and the cause of wipes, but it was fun, and I wish Frostwolves had the interest to do it - but the downtime from raiding is a good time to do all those other game things I wanted to do! Thanks Onineko for the carry and the raid!

Field Medic Navimie
I didn't know this before but First Aid is going bye byes in Battle for Azeroth.
To be honest, I'm not surprised. It's a useless profession. From a healer point of view anyway.
However, there are still First Aid achievements to complete - so make sure you get them done before BFA if you're into achievements! The most important one to me was the Field Medic achievement - which awards the title "Field Medic".
You know those First Aid quest things that drop all around Broken Isles? Well, if you didn't know there is actually an achievement for doing all of them...
I had a few of them before I started trying to get them in earnest - Some of them drop quite frequently from doing the PvP towers.
In reality, the way to get this achievement is just a massive grind of mob killing. People on Wowhead talk about drops from certain mobs, but each of these First Aid things are attached to zones. It's a random drop, and thus the best chance of getting them is from a mob that respawns quickly. There is a great comment on Wowhead with details of best ways to farm with waypoints too.
Val'sharah: Bloody Plea, Fevered Note, Bloody request
Interestingly, this is the one I didn't have to farm. I got my last one, Bloody Request when I was doing the Bradensbrook WQ from one of the Risen Hounds.
However, recommended farming spots are the Furlbogs near Smolderhide Thicket and Murlocs at Gloaming Reef.
Azsuna: Singed Note, Bloody Note, Fevered Plea
This is the second one I didn't have to farm. I managed to complete them just from world quests. I do remember one dropping from murlocs.
The recommended farming spots are murlocs west of Narthalas academy, and Warden towers on the Warden Island.
Highmountain: Fevered Letter, Crumpled Note, Crumpled Letter
Third one I didn't have to farm. PvP towers got me all my ones.
Recommended farming spots are kobolds near Skyhorn, and Feltotem tauren
Suramar: Fevered Prayer, Bloody Letter, Singed Plea, Bloody Prayer
This one I did farm. The farming spot I used was near Moonguard Stronghold, killing Nightborne Siegecasters in that area where they are harrassing Hippogryphs. I also had one first aid thing drop from the Nighborne Arcanists who were making portals a few levels up from there. This farm spot is best done in a 5 man group, as the respawns are super fast.
Stormheim: Singed Letter, Crumpled Request, Fevered Request
I spent the longest time farming these ones. I only had Singed Letter, and so I joined groups who were farming murlocs in the southwest of the zone. I didn't like that as much because the mobs were a bit spread out. Whilst I was there in a PuG farming group the world quest popped up so the group ended up moving to Vampirates. That was actually a good area for me, because I got both my drops there.
I remember that I had gotten my last Suramar one and was in my PuG group in Stormheim when I was dragged by my guildies to DPS a key, much to my dismay as I was on a first aid roll! Splatz said that I would have super good luck getting the rest of my first aid, but unfortunately that wasn't the case. However, the cool thing as that when I went back to farming, the same group was still there farming so we were all very amiable and chatty. One of the hunters in the group had done the same thing earlier - gone away and then come back to the group. I do remember that the warlock in the group had insanely good RNG, telling me it took him less than 2 hours to farm all of the first aid drops in one zone.
The first aid quests will need you to use Field Packs, Silkweave Splints, Silkweave Bandages and Silvery salves. Field packs you should carry in your bag, but to save bag space you can keep the mats to make the others in your bank - you will need Shal'dorei Silk, Silver Mackerel and Leystone Ore to make the other items.
Another thing to remember is that you have to get rid of any other First aid quests you have! You won't get another drop if you have one active! So if you picked up one you already had, make sure you abandon it so that you can pick up the next First Aid quests or you may have hours of fruitless farming.
Good luck if you're farming for the achievement!
To be honest, I'm not surprised. It's a useless profession. From a healer point of view anyway.

Man, this Gwent card of "Field Medic" is so gruesomely cool! |
![]() |
Bloody Request - This one was down in a Barrow Den - took me a while to find him |
Azsuna: Singed Note, Bloody Note, Fevered Plea

Bloody Prayer |

Bloody Letter - In a branch of a tree |
Stormheim: Singed Letter, Crumpled Request, Fevered Request
I spent the longest time farming these ones. I only had Singed Letter, and so I joined groups who were farming murlocs in the southwest of the zone. I didn't like that as much because the mobs were a bit spread out. Whilst I was there in a PuG farming group the world quest popped up so the group ended up moving to Vampirates. That was actually a good area for me, because I got both my drops there.

Crumpled Request - Poor Little Goblin! |
![]() |
Fevered Request - Lying on a ledge (my lucky last!) |
I remember that I had gotten my last Suramar one and was in my PuG group in Stormheim when I was dragged by my guildies to DPS a key, much to my dismay as I was on a first aid roll!

Blizzard WoW April Fools 2018
This year the wall of text of the Blizzard April Fool's post is too extensive to talk about in detail - you can read it for yourself here. And here.
But there are some highlights, which I found amusing.
That last one would be GREAT for my 50 world quest challenge LOL!
Well, I found this funny because I started playing Fortnite so I could introduce the kids to it - because I find Roblox not very exciting, and at least Fortnite was cute - if killing other people could be defined as "cute". For those who don't know, Fortnite's free Battle Royale is where 100 people drop into an island and fight it out Hunger Games style whilst looting houses and searching for equipment to beat the other players with.
Death Knight
- Blood - Anti magic shell now comes four delicious candy flavours
Demon Hunter
- Havoc - Fixed a bug that was causing Chaos Blades to behave predictably
Druid
- Balance - New Moon has been in the game for a while now and is now renamed "Moon"
- Guardian - Stampeding Roar now gives the Druid the eye of the tiger, a fighter, dancing through the fire. ‘Cause you are a champion!
- Restoration - Innervate can now only be cast on the first healer to call for it in voice chat.
Hunter
- Survival - Survival Hunters will now always be the last players alive when a group wipes. We apologize for only just coming to this realization after all these years of the spec’s name.
Mage
- Arcane - Added support for keyboards with fewer than one button.
Monk
- Mistweaver - Monks who cast Revival at the exact same time the Priest cast Divine Hymn are now officially the worst.
Paladin
- Holy - Equipping The Silver Hand again causes you to come in second place behind players who use The Gold Hand. But at least you beat those Bronze Hand losers.
- Protectio - Avenger’s Shield, when combined with a Stone of Infinity, now summons Captain Azeroth, a goody-two-shoes Paladin NPC who can do this all day.
Priest
- Holy - Priests who cast Divine Hymn at the exact same time the Monk cast Revival are now officially the worst.
Rogue
- Assassination - Rogues who cast their finishing moves at only 3 Combo Points are now highlighted in the group window for their raid leaders and that one guy who’s always telling you how to play your class. I mean, he’s not wrong, he’s just annoying.
Shaman
- Restoration - Wellspring has had its healing effect reduced by 30%, and its name changed to "Alrightspring."
Warrior
- Arms - In response to feedback that there was not enough difference between Arms and Fury, we’ve added two more arms to all Arms Warriors. Visit the Barber Shop to customize the exact placement of your third and fourth arms.
- Fury - When you select this spec, your character will no longer have upper body appendages.
- Protection - The entire Protection Warrior toolkit has been re-designed with Spell Reflection as the primary focus. They protecc, and they attacc, but most importantly, they reflecc.

Sunday Raids - Glory of the Tomb Raider Part 3 - Dark Souls
We had one goal this week - to get Dark Souls, which was the Kil'jaeden achievement.
All you have to do is make sure none of those Shadowsouls (that you see in the dark phase) finish casting. It is a little bit trickier than you think!
Firstly, in the dark, you have 100% miss. So you can't interrupt them even if you are standing on top of them unless you get the sight from Illidan.
Secondly, you have 1 second where you can see them before it goes dark. It really helps to have a DK who can grip them all (and have super fast reflexes) to grab them just before it goes dark so they're all together.
Thirdly, if you have Kil'jaeden in a corner, the Shadowsouls will spawn in an arc around him, rather than having KJ in the middle where they will spawn in a circle around him. This makes it easier. There is a bit of confusion about this - do they spawn where players are? Or do they spawn around Kil'Jaeden? I tried to test it by standing in a corner away from the group so that I could help look for Illidan really early, and then if I was lucky and he was in my corner, then we could run back quickly and interrupt them. If you put someone in every corner, then at least someone would get the sight and be able to run back quickly and interrupt the adds so everyone could get there once they got the sight and kill them.
We got it! Now some of us are Tomb Raiders!

Fail Friday - I had to tank Heroic ABT
It's Wednesday! Raid day! Yes, I know there isn't much enthusiasm for raid at the moment but I do like hanging out with my guildies and I would like to get a DPS titan trinket... but wishful thinking!
HK messages me at 8pm. "Not logging on, I've got a headache."
"OK, hope you get some rest," I said. Hopefully Ram will get on.
Raid time rolls around. Umm. No Ram. No Gen. Splatz is there. Crooked is grudgingly coming because he got the legendary (thank goodness!) because even though he doesn't want to come along (he is busy trying to get Insane title) I'm glad because I get to play with him. Except when he's torturing me with my other crazy goal, which is to get 2 levels on my shaman a day.
With Daylight savings end, Tye should be able to make raids. I suggest Tye tanking to Splatz.
"Hell, NO," said Splatz.
OK, well, I guess I have to tank. That's ok, I thought, I'll just start it a bit, maybe someone will turn up. I told Splatz and he said he was fine telling me everything I had to do.
Well, guess what. We actually wiped on Garothi. Partly my fault because I ran thru the ranged when I was getting bombed. Oops. But to be fair, lots of people were dead already.
Fortunately, skipped dogs. Straight over to Aggramar. That's when the REAL fun started.
We were very light on CC. We had 2 warlocks and a monk. I was tanking so I couldn't root very well. Crooked changed over to druid to try to heal but after a few goes that wasn't working coz he was dying. I was getting a bit disheartened with it, but everyone wanted to persist - I think Crooked was annoyed at me for being so give-up but I was worried that my tanking was screwing everything over. However, I was reassured that it was the CC that was stuffing up not my tanking (but when you're freaking out, everything is my fault!)
I did stuff up the swap a few times for Taeselach. How do you run back so quickly and make him swap sides? I had already used roar but it wasn't up again. Maybe I was supposed to not stand with everyone...? I shouldn't have laughed at Gravy... Splatz got so exasperated he changed to his main, Crooked went back to healing on his shaman.
So the new strat was to let skull walk in, kill the next 2 beside it and keep the other 3 cc'd. We had lots of issues with that still, but eventually, it clicked and we got it down. Phew! Hwired even had his old raid leader voice on for a bit... What a relief!
Now Argus...
So a few stuff ups but eventually we got it! I kept tanking wrong - thought I was supposed to stand with Splatz, but noooo - but once I got the hang of it, it was ok. I need to be better with my defensives though! And I need to be faster on taunting those things with weapons because they went off killing half the raid coz I was slow. I now at least have a better idea of how tanking goes - I REALLY should pay attention to what the tanks do.
So that was my fail tanking on Wednesday. I am worried that because of that, NOBODY is going to turn up on Wednesday anymore!

14 August for BfA means I can stop my World Quest Challenge!
I packed it in Thursday last week because I couldn't do the 50 world quest challenge anymore. I did 1000 world quests in just over 3 weeks, and just hit 8000... and now I don't want to do it anymore.
Battle for Azeroth was announced and now that there is a definite date, it has galvanised people into interesting actions - all very different.
1. OK we can stop playing WoW and play something else until prequests for BfA come out
2. OMG I only have 14 weeks to get this alt levelled/this achievement/all my mage tower appearances
3. 14 weeks to get mythic Argus done and then we are done with this expansion
And, I also started playing kiddy games. Yes, I started playing Fortnite. The kids really like playing, and at least I like playing it too. They were making me play Roblox before, and I find that DREADFULLY dull. Roblox is an MMO with lots of user created games/worlds in it, and the characters look like Minecraft figures. There are hundreds of games/servers in it with all sorts of themes.
There is even actually a game in Roblox called "The floor is Poop". Where there is a killer wave of poop, and you have to climb a building to avoid it. The last person standing wins. The kids wanted me to play that. So I did. For 20 minutes. UGH.
Anyway, I figured, I can just cut back and do just 20 a day, or binge it and catch up. If I can get myself off Fortnite...

Sunday Raids - Attempting Mythic TOS
The guild needed Mythic TOS for the achieve, so I begged 16 guildies to get on so we could get the guild achievement. We did manage to get more than 16 guildies on and Delanoben was telling me about the complicated mechanics that we needed for the first 2 bosses.
Then we had a bash at Helya. Now it took us ages because we hadn't done the mechanics right, and we spent most of the night trying to get it right. So our best attempt was 9% and we said no problem, we'll come back next week! I was going to extend it, but we thought, hey let's just do it again, it was so easy. Hopefully next week we'll have enough people!
For Odyn there were some buffs that needed to be stacked on one side of the room and to put markers down. Also, there were some extra adds. It sounds easy now, but at the time I was confused and I said let's just wing it.
Well, Odyn just fell over. We at least remembered we had to take our adds when we were marked to their pads so that we could kill them....
So that was so hilariously easy.
Then Guarm. Del started explaining that we needed 4 healers because there is a special debuff that will kill you if not dispelled correctly. If you dispel it next to the people who have that same colour then it will jump to them and disappear, otherwise it will jump to others and tick.
So we spent a few minutes discussing how we were going to put people and which debuffs to take. Then we said stuff it, let's just wing it.
Well, Guarm also just fell over, except people with the debuff kinda just died. Guarm died in the running phase so it didn't last long at all.

Fail Friday - There's a first time for everything...
I owed Splatz some M+. He did help me get 4 levels on my alt, after all.
So I said on Thursday, let's go do some M+! He said sure, and I said bring your DK. We got Lushen on his alt DK, Goodgravy on his alt DH, and Spoon came on his druid. It was a 16 COS and I thought ok this will be nice and easy, it's just Raging, Necrotic and Tyrannical this week.
So, we get to the first boss, and whilst we're on the last bit of trash before the boss pull, I'm running to go click beacons. We pull the boss, and it's all going well. We hit the 30% and the boss yells "This will even the odds!"
As he runs off to drink his bottle, we go and pull the Construct, then I noticed we all got the debuff that you have to jump to get rid of. And our health is going down because there is that ugly bowtie thing on the floor. It takes me about 2 seconds to register that the boss is not dead yet. By that stage, someone is dead, the others are low and I'm dying. We wipe. The boss resets.
"So, are there no alchemists in the group?" said Splatz?
"Not me," I said.
The others were also all not alchys. Lushen is an alchy on his main, and Gravy is too, I think. "Well, that's a first for me," said Gravy.
LOL, yeah oops. It's not my first time, but I have been in a group with no alchy, you just have to remember to kill the boss. Good work guys! Well, at least we still made the dungeon in time :D
