There are so many things to be doing before WoD and I still seemed to like wasting time on the Isle of Giants, grinding. I wondered to myself why that was.
It's not like I ENJOY grinding. I really don't.
It's not like I really CARE about mounts, because if I did care about mounts, I would be doing TK, Malygos, Onyxia, Sethekk Halls, Utgarde Pinnacle... but I don't.
And lately, it's not like I have much solitude there because there have been people massacring dinosaurs like me in the droves. I don't know why people were so eager to be out there after 6.0. There was nothing new. Perhaps it was the 250 mount achievement so they could all get that green firehawk that Luxy rides.
Truthfully, it is rather disturbing to see these piles of bodies. That's why I liked taking Aimei with me so he could skin them and the bodies would go away. Seems tidier and also, it's such a waste of leather.
And don't you find it strange that MASSACRING is an anagram of MASS CARING? I'm not sure I can find an anagram more polar than that.
I think the reason I like it is because it's given me the opportunity to practice DPS and tanking. I used to do that on the Timeless Isle but stressing about running to rares was getting me down. Rares not spawning, or not dropping loots I was looking for was a bit depressing, whereas killing dinos gives me a 100% drop of bones which.. is more addictive than the 1% chance drops on the Isle.
Anyway, since I went Guardian it's been a lot easier to solo things on the Isle and confidently take out T-Rex's and even War-God when he's up for some loots. Crooked has been a great bone farming buddy especially late at night when I'm just killing time in game (haha).
It is a rather hideous looking mount isn't it? I don't think I'll ever ride it. In fact, I'm a little sad now that I have no reason to farm dinobones anymore. I suppose I could sell them at the AH or turn them in for gold...
