Now that 6.0 is almost upon us, suddenly the urgency to finish those little things has been weighing heavily on me. Why did I leave it till now to do these things? All these things that will be gone!

And of course things I don't care about such as
- Legendary schmegendary cloak stuff
- Heirlooms from Garrosh
And what have I been doing? Farming dino bones. Those will still be there come 6.0. I have no idea WHY I am doing that instead of queueing up in Brawler's where everyone has the same idea and is trying to get their Rank 10 out of the way.
I have to say gear has been carrying me through Brawler's. Naturally, unco-ordinated me had difficulty with Hexos - if I can't do the stupid jumping Tortos thing for the water gun do you think I can do Hexos? Anyway, I cheated - I get Lushnek to do the turning for me so I could do the DPS rotation. It took many goes. Many many goes. But it's done. Yay. I am there at Rank 9 doing Nibbleh and trying to remember I need to walk SLOWLY backwards and not to pause everytime he's out of range because that seems to stuff me up.
I have not gone back to Proving Grounds and I suspect I shall just not do it. I just don't feel like it.
And those keys... well I never collected enough so I can't practice doing the stuff. I play my kitty spec with a mere passable ability so running around getting places and stepping in the right things (and remembering a map) is just not my cup of tea. I want to open all the things! I keep hearing how people have hundreds of the damn keys. I think I have 3. Oh all that wasted time when I could have been collecting keys.
But... somebody DRAG ME AWAY FROM THAT DINO ISLE! I don't know why I keep going there when I have so many other things to be doing!!
Maybe, because it's kinda fun. And mindless. And I don't have to be an uber leet coordinated player to be able to do it unlike all those other things that I should be doing before 6.0. And I can just derp out and make mistakes and even when I don't do so great, things like pet baby dinos and raptor eggs drop, which helps me round out my Christmas list to those poor souls (and there aren't many of them) who don't have their little pets.
