Roshii is back! His computer was resuscitated and he was excited to be raiding. Raked's computer blew up so we had to get Lush tanking on Aimei which was a little bit stressful because he was going SPLAT during the beams phase.
We had a few rough starts as we tried to get our heads around stuff. Running with beams, getting into the healing beam, Disco had a bad start with the maze but picked up after I started laughing at him...
Healing wise, we found that Bish and I would be able to use Tranq and Hymn for both beam phases. Disco was on tank duty. Thank god it was him and not me. He did have a bit of a poopoo when we struggled to heal Lush in that phase, so we had to have Lush and Asys swap tanking starts because then Asys could tank Durumu in the beam phase and he seemed to live longer.
Aza died to the maze.. twice! I have no idea why. And I was listening to his advice on being calm, don't panic the maze comes slowly, it's ok... I've finally gotten the hang of the stupid maze. Stand on his ass and run to the sparkies. Bish also died once to the hard stare, which was kinda funny to see him go flying.
I accidentally said a bad word in Vent. It may or may not have had something to do with bad beam healing....
In our kill attempt I had to drive the red beam BOTH times, which at first I thought was crap, but actually turned out good because it meant I could heal the DPS. Unfortunately it meant I was getting a spike in the bum (caustic spike) and that was annoying. Also I was facing forwards so I couldn't see if the red was dead or not and I needed the DPS to tell me when it was dead so I would move when they said.
As is the Frosties way, it was the final attempt for the night that got the kill! We managed to live through the second beam and we were all really excited. We were running through the maze, with 6% to go... 5%... 3%... oh shit Souglyy died... and then we got it, yay!
And guess who got some new shiny boots? Yay me with Sandals of the Starving Eye! The cloak was DE'd and added to the spirits in the bank.

Now, the bad news is that we start from the beginning again next week. Booo Tortos. I swear, it's my turn to sit out on that one :D
